Let me tell you that practicing gratitude changed my life! But let me also tell you that it took me TEN years of trying on and off before I found and understand WHY and HOW it works.
Gratitude journaling is a practice that can help you cultivate a more positive and appreciative mindset. I often got stuck- and occasionally still do- in these “what if” spirals. What I can tell you is that, if you practice gratitude regularly, slowly & surely you will begin looking for things to be grateful for. In the darkest days, you will start noticing good things. When you start running out of things to be grateful for- THAT is when you truly start feeling appreciation and THAT is when our mindset begins to change.

While the basic idea of gratitude journaling is to regularly record things you’re grateful for, there are so many different methods you can use to keep your practice unique and refreshing. That’s why I’m sharing 30 unique gratitude journal methods that I’ve practiced over the last 6 months or so in hopes to inspire you. Try using a new one each day for the next 30 days, and begin incorporating your favorites into your journaling routine. (or start a journaling routine if you haven’t already!)
*please note that a some of these techniques came from or were inspired from videos, internet searches, and readings that I’ve done over the past year. When I was originally doing these practices for myself, I didn’t write down where I saw them as they were only for my eyes. If any of these prompts look familiar to a source, please let me know so that I can thank them properly.*
